[OT] Help me with PDF

fixed it. get this guys, you'll love the way this works.

I have a master page, this is the "template" that all other pages follow. in this master page are two edge artworks- the standard art on the left and the right side margins.

when making my master i plopped down one image and copied it in the program and moved it to the other (left) side. Apparantly you must place the image twice from the master image (ie not copy it within pagemaker) in order for it to print out in a PDF.

heheheh... now i'm off to take a handfull of asprin to kill this migrain....

do the graphics still print low quality?

I was going to suggest that you check your job options for the PDF and make sure it's set for print and not screen...that will affect the amount of compression distiller applies to the graphics it puts in the document...

there are more advanced options available for changing various types of graphics to different resolutions but these settings (print and screen) can affect it globally...

I'm going to have to play with the graphics output a bit to get what i want. I have a general idea of how those things work and should be able to figure it out. I'll look at your suggestions and see whats best. thanks for the reply! :)
