[OT] Help - Windows is leaking radiation into my house!

Well, not really. But I am having these error messages pop up about every 20 seconds

Windows Socket Error (11001), on API 'ASync Lookup'

and

Windows Socket Error (10049), on API 'connect'

anyone have any idea on how to stop this? I've tried running Windoc from Norton Utilities but it says there are no problems with Windows. I defragged my HD about 2 weeks ago and did a virus scan and found nothing. Also there are apparently no hardware conflicts.

Please help me ENWorlders - you (along with Nutkinland) are my only hope)

PS - I wasn't sure if this was supposed to be in meta or not - moderators please move it if there is a better forum.

Have you actually looked at microsofts webpage?

Best thing to do would be a windows update. Other than that check if you haven't got any newly installed programs in your program tray (bottom right area of task bar) that are causing it.
