OT: How do i edit a .pdf?

Have an existing .pdf file that needs some touch up work. What application will allow me to go in and edit said file and then save the .pdf? What adobe product can do this?

Adobe Acrobat the full version.

May be some other programs, but if the PDF is encrypted or has a password you will not be able too (unless you crack the PDF).

Are you sure? The copy that you download from Adobe is just the reader. That's the one that most people have because it's free. That is to say that the writer is not.

Well, actualy it's a bit more than that. The full version of Acrobat isn't an authoring tool, its a converter. I belive you need Pagemaker to actualy edit stuff.

no i installed the FULL version of adobe. I have a copy here at work I used. Still no nice tiny edit version of this. Does pagemaker do the editing?

Both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator will open and edit PDFs. Use the one appropriate. I assume that Adobe InDesign will, too. PageBreaker, however, is too messed up to use for anything.
