If you can call Hal a name you should be free to invent some of your own.

I think Ardof Herring would be a great name.

My wife and I are expecting our third. On the list of girl's names is Marina. I'm shooting for that one.

Marina? Are you serious? Naming a daughter after a place you are likely to find a lot of seamen is not a good idea.
