Remind him that Hal is a shorted version of Henry. And Henry V was a bad*******.

Actually it is worse, my legal name is Harold , I hate it and am only called that when I am in trouble or people want to irk me.

waiting for slew of people who want to irk me..do not do it, or I swear I will call off GenCon, I will, I mean it! :D

With a name like Hal Herring, you'd have to START with at LEAST a pair of boots, a cowboy hat, and a HUGE belt buckle. Wouldnt you?

Eric

Hang in there Hal,
I am a "Hal" too, although it is my middle name. I was named after my grandfather who did go by Hal. I have also placed Harold as my son's middle name. So you are not alone and Hal is making a comeback!

Now, now it is time that we be respectful to Hal in his time of crisis...

poor guy, the Hal-idays must bring on season-Hal depression... *giggle*

Happy Hal-idays to one and all! :D

Marina? Are you serious? Naming a daughter after a place you are likely to find a lot of seamen is not a good idea.
I guess Eric's mom must not have read that one aloud. :(

Bad form!

Ok, what would it take?
Free product?
Your name (or favorite PC) as an NPC in our books?
Cash?

Doug Herring president of MEG is having a baby and I am trying to convince him to do this.
So...? What would it take?

Changing your .sig file to use proper grammar might help. :D
