"The Dead Are Red ..."

Filmed in 1958, this classic of Anti-Communist hysteria has been lost for over 40 years. Now fully restored from the original prints, its lurid tale of communist cannibal zombies is finally available to the modern viewer.

Described by Roger Ebert as "Red Dawn meets George Romero", the film depicts an insidious Soviet plot to conquer the United States with the animated remains of her own war dead. But perhaps the film's original poster said it best:

"Thrill to the heroism of five ordinary Americans as they do battle with ... The Hidden Horror!"
