[OT] LOTR swords

Trust me. If you like Role Playing Games, you DON"T want her. She hates D&D! Everyday I am assailed with snide remarks that the tons of useless junk I have would make a great penny on Ebay. But if you must have her, please take the debt too, and i will call it even. :D

To be honest, I don't know if it is RPGs, or D&D in particular. I am going to try to get Decipher's LOTR RPG seal of approvial. Then I will know. Plus, my 11 year old is REALLY into Buffy, and Harry Potter (we even played the CCG and I admit, that I liked it.) I am sure she has some of pop's gaming genes in her.

Anyway, back to the sword. Mouse' I do appriciate the comments. I know very little about sword craftsmanship. However my wife got it WAY under retail through some kooky deal thing she had from some kind of "coupon of the month club" so I don't feel ripped off. Of course I did tell her to hold off getting any more until we find out more about "swords." I would love to have a couple over the mantle. :D

Salamander armory. Some nice blades, but more importantly, some discussion about the qualities of various metals and such, suitable for the uninitiated.

You can find all of this stuff for a lot less on e-Bay. I got one of the Sting swords for under $100, and a One Ring for $10.

The latest Museum Replicas catalog had a replica of Grimli's axe in it.
