Just curious. Has anyone ever actually made any money with this sort of thing?
Personally, I believe your subject line answers your own question. I've never tried any of those schemes, and the few people I know who have thought about it have never actually tried it.

You might want to put an OT in the subject.

my apologies to en's grandma, thats why i chose an anatomically correct term rather than a colloquialism...will add that to my "careful where you tread" list

I have tried it for a while when I was young and foolish. I've tried two: one without multilevel marketing, and one with multilevel marketing. The first got me around 50$ after ten months of constant use. I had twenty more in the account when the company went bust. The second got me zero.

You may want to consider that those things are also loaded with spyware.

That's part of the idea, actually. They pay you for two things:
1. To watch their ads.
2. The knowledge of what pages you look at (ostensibly so they can deliver targeted ads).

Still, these things might have worked in the heyday of internet advertising, but I doubt they do anymore.

I did actually receive two $20 checks from all advantage a couple of years ago. I still don't think these things are worth the time even if you find one that is legit.

Griz.
