(OT) Maul of America vs. ZOMBIES!

I found Zombies to be a boring game with great zombie miniatures! If I was to recommend a game, it would unquestionably be Pagan Publishing's the Hills Rise Wild!. Best game I own, I think, and fun every time I play. You try to track down a copy of the "Nekke'nomikon" an git it back to yer summonin' circle afore yer enemies do... I find you end up shouting "dang" a lot. It's an inbred blood-red corpse fed hillbilly bonanza!
Glad I picked it up at GenCon, then. Haven't played it yet, but soon.... Hmmm, maybe I'll run a few games of The Hills Rise Wild! at the Chicago game day.....

Expansion set is due for December release, according to the booth staff at GenCon.

That's what they said a year ago, too, Barendd! I'll believe it when I see it.

Count on a game length of one hour per person, with the pace of play starting slower and rapidly speeding up. The game is most fun when you encourage rapid play and aren't too anal about the rules. And wow, it really is a good game; simplified miniatures combat with deranged cultists is my idea of a good time.

It's well balanced, too; I've never played a game that didn't come right down to the wire.
