Hot packs for about 15-20 minutes, twice a day.
AuroraGyps said:Ok, here's what my parents always tell me to do when my necks bad: Fold 2 bath towels, long sides together
Roll both towels up, starting from the short side to other short side.
Put 2 rubber bands on both rolls, near the ends
Lay on your back on the floor, place one roll under the small of your back and one under your neck
Lay like that for maybe 20 minutes (I usually fall asleep)
Hope this helps & let me know if it does so I can let my parents know they helped someone on the internet... they'll get a kick out of it.![]()

One note - if you don't actually have lower-back strain, the rolled towel in the small of the back is contraindicated, especially if you're at risk of falling asleep with the roll there. Over-stretching the small of the back when youdon't need to is a good way to cause problems, rather than fix them.
