[OT] My Goofy Children

I have an 8 year old boy that brings home question about what he overhears the bigger kids talking about, makes for interesting conversation. I also have a 3 year old daughter.

Thankfully I do not have big nipples.

I was never more aware of the difference between the sexes when we had our baby girl. I know now that women are born they way they are and we were never meant to understand them.

Take my son (8 yrs) for example on clothes. He could care less if anything matches even his socks as long as he's not running around naked. My daughter at the age of 3 will argue with me for fifteen minutes on what to wear with me holding out stuff from the dresser drawer and discussing it and putting it back, and on and on. She will haggle down to her shoelaces. Then, an hour later she will go and change into something different when I'm not looking. Then, my wife will come in and yell at me because I don't know how to dress her.

I can't win.

Happy Happy, Joy Joy

Kids are a blast. I have been asked about things like-

When are you having the baby? (I am a guy-then 275 lbs in a checkout and it was not my kid...poor parent)

One of the worst was when my daughter walked in on my wife and I in the living room around 3am. We figured she had just arrived and saw nothing. Two days later, when shhe gave a kiss to us she started at the hand and worked her way up. YAH! Tammy! Come get our daughter!

Another favorite. Why is the sky blue? Finding personal humor I explained to her light reflection and refraction through H20 and the such. "Oh- I thought it was because God thought it was pretty." Bad daddy.

Kender: You should be able to turn sigs off by updating your profile. That should solve your problem, and maintain my Recommended Daily Allowance of Bikini Models.
