And to answer your question...my most memorable experiance as a gamer was while I was DMing a group while stationed in South Korea in the Air Force. It was late at night and I was coming to a very dramatic part of the campaign where an eclipse of the sun was about to happen. I was describing how all the animals went quiet and the air just seemed to get tense and quiet, then I told them quickly and loudly how the sun dissapeared and darkness covered the world!

...and then the power for the entire base went out and we were REALLY plunged into total darkness!! I yelled and laughed my butt off and praised the power of the almighty DM to bring his control over reality itself!!!


OK, I'm back now. Anyway, that was my most memorable. Hope you enjoyed it and have many more memorable experiences yourself. Game on!

I think you will find these boards to be full of some pretty nice (for the most part) people (and undead, evil gods, crazed wizards, farm animals, ect ). Just be careful about the gaming. You will get sucked in and become just like the rest of us!

I don`t. I never had a desire to sleep under bridges and disturb wizards during their voyages - this would only result in becoming a frog, and though some might consider this an evolutionary development for a troll, I consider it as nothing I want to happen to me...
