And the blushing member still watches those threads, as a wondeful one about certain creatures than in the old version of the game we all love were doglike bt in the current version are reptile like.

And your memory seems to work right, the blushing poster hasn't implied another thing in any moment :)

Those devilish and lupine creatures have even more reasons to become megalonic these days you know.

They might have been megalomanic and urging world domination in the past, but how can that condition be cured when now a days got the blood of the acient arcane serpents inside their veins.

And for thou, the lady and the man which will be clad in the garment descibed above whilst be done in a few days. We have some strange thing that people want to celebrate these days that will sadly occupy that particular artists time.

But they are on s'the way for thou.

Those devilish and lupine creatures have also been accused of beign cute, it's the fault of one of them, as famous that he has almost become an icon, that allied to a paty of adventurers in a citadel were the natural illumination didn't arrive.

This blushing poster didn't want the artist to feel pressed, he understand all those strange celebrations. He never wanted the artist to think he was trying to press the artist for doing it.

I believe I would be interested in playing such a game, but may I point out that if such a past-time has started, then the original poster (name withheld) is already out as he mentions by name the second poster in his closing statement.

But again, that's an excessive dose of ruleslawyering that shouldn't be put in the way of this funny thread... :D

Hey, Horacio! I'm going to copy over your history of the hivemind" post from the LotR forum, since I'm cleaning out the OT posts in that thread. I figured you wouldn't want to lose it!

------------------------------------

[Warning, tale about the Hivemind origins]

By last August, I already had 2500 posts, most of them done in the SH forum, praising those stories that I loved, showing my support to all those great writters that spend hours and hours giving us so great stories.

In August, I began to post in Meta. I was there while Gen Con, when a thread that later would be known as the (First) Sacred Thread erupted profiting the moderator (besides our own Hivemoderator Darkness) were at Gen Con, and was stopped by Dire Piratecat after the con was finished.

Then I continued posting in both Meta and SH, for a month or two. Until by half October, a modest thread began to grow out of control. We were all people who have met in Meta forum, we all shared an odd sense of humor, we all had too much free time in our hands, and we began the longest posting marathon in EN World's history. At the end, the thread was closed after some 1197 post.

It was called Dragongirl, Horacio & Arwink, three posters and a baby. During some 72 hours we posted like madpeople, more than 200 messages each one, and other people like Crothian and Darkness closely behind that. It was a silly thing, yes, but it was very very special.

I can truely say that this thread changed my life. Oh, it sounds like a film line, maybe, but it did. Because I met very special people, people that today I call friends, more close friends that most people I've met in real life. And Because... well, I'll never tell... but believe me, to me it was a lot more than a silly thread.

And since then, we became addicted. Whatever any of us was online, we posted. Darkness asked us to put a label in our insane threads, and keep them limited to three, so the [Hivemind] label was born. Then some people began to join us, and some more after them, and our little bunch of Hiveminders grew more. But we still have the same spirit and we try to be friendly and open to everybody.

Some people see us as a postcount race, or a stupid buch of silly person. This is not a PbP game either. There you haven't a character, you haven't stats, you live no adventure. Hivemind is the virtual equivalent to the Cheers bar, a place when people, some regulars, some first timers, gather to speak and enjoy a good time.

To us, it's more. It's like a chat, but a chat that surpases time zone barriers. We live in the four corners of the planet, from Australia to USA, passing by France or Austria. We cannot never be all online at the same time, so we meet here, we drop essages, we share a small community inside the big home.
I have found great friends there, close friends and ever more. They have rescued me from a big depression some time ago, they have helped me in some really bad moments, we have share lots of laughs, lots of stories and good friendship.

That's Hivemind. That's what we are.

[End Hivemind history]

Is that enough for you?
------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks!

And even a three-legged buccaneer enters, but what happens all he does is to break the rules for this little competition and actually using ones name when refering to him. :D

The story was already posted, at least a previous version, it's a unfinished work yet :)

Thanks anyways, three legged kitty!
