Sweden started a manhunt yesterday after a mysterious assailant tried to kill Anna Lindh, the Swedish Foreign Minister. She has been leading the “yes” campaign in the Sweden's euro referendum. At a famous department store (NK) she was attacked and stabbed several times. At the time Anna Lindh was not under body-guard protection.

Currently she is in the hospital and the condition is critical. The assailant is still at large.

Other than possibly tacking an OT onto the thread title, I think this is worthy. If Colin Powell was stabbed in a public place and nearly killed, wouldn't that be discussion-worthy?

But, Emirikol, I don't want to discuss this with just anyone. I want to discuss it with you guys. EN-World is the place I go. By the way, Colin Powell said he was devastated by the sad news. We don't need to turn this political - it's just for your information as CNN or NY Times doesn't mention this on their respective websites.
