I won't swear this is still the plan, but I think I remember the publishers of Tal4 saying their plan was to have a second printing of the book (with errata and corrections fixed) available before the end of the year. Possibly in softcover, or maybe both SC and HC.
I'll breeze through the archived messages from the Tal mailing list later and double-check.
For those of you who have no interest in ever playing Talislanta (I have interest, but minor; I like d20), the setting, creatures and flavor is awesome! I have incorporated many elements from Tal into my D&D campaigns over the years. The book is well worth having on your gaming shelf as an amazing resource of cool ideas.
