Thank you all for such kind words. Last night for the first time, it all finally sunk in. I had been going non stop this past weekend trying to keep myself busy and as Randy lay there and slept, I couldnt.

I just kept thinking and thinking. So I called my mom, scared as Ive ever been about all of this. Randy says I will be scared and Ill go through the gamut of emotions the next couple of days but Ill get better and he wont let anything happen to me.

It also helps knowing i have you all on my side.

It means so much.

Ryan, there just aren't any good words to say. "Booger" is about all that comes to mind (at least that I can post).

I don't know what your faith is, but mine says that God never hands you anything you _can't_ handle. Whether you choose to handle it well is entirely in your hands (recommended starting point is getting help from a higher power).

Feels weird saying anything even remotely resembling a "keep your chin up". Still, it's good to let you know we're all pulling for you.

Wow. All my thoughts, love and prayers are with you Ryan.

As others have said, there are good medicines out there now. I have a very good friend who was diagnosed as HIV positive several years ago and he is still leading a normal, healthy life. I know you will live a long healthy life as well.

Just remember you are loved and respected here Ryan unconditionally and without judgment. We all wish you well.

Now I think I'll go call my son and have that condom talk again...

kind of sums up my feelings on this news, but I'm going to say a bit more.

Ryan, I'm really sorry to hear this. I've not got anything to say that hasn't been said already, but I guess it all bears repeating. Look after yourself, live your life, and fight this thing. You've always been one of the most recognisable and interesting posters on EN World, and you're a great DM in the PbP games you're running for me. I guess gaming isn't the most important thing in the world for me to mention, but you've given me a lot of entertainment from the games of your's I play in.

And, of course, another hug Best of luck with everything, and by the looks of things, you've got a lot of well-wishers.
