OK, the town is named Bishop's Stortford

My memory of Bishop's Stortford was, unfortunately, formed by family car journeys from Kent to Cambridge in the early 70's, before the M25 and M11 were built. I've consequently never been able to get rid of the impression of that part of Essex (Brentwood being another culprit) as being one long traffic queue....

Anyway, I'm in Hammersmith (both work and home), which is right the other side of London, but good for tube and bus links, so I'm happy to travel to somewhere more convenient for you poor souls who have to suffer Essex ;)

It might be fun to show up as well. mmm actually my car counts as a motorcycle on ferries so It might not be too expensive to come too.
