[OT, Valentine's Day] What are you doing for your sweety?

I had a couple of stuffed monkeys that my girlfriend hated, so I bought her a bear and made a slide show recounting the tale of the bear sneaking into the house and dispatching the monkeys one by one as they caused mischief and mayhem with all her stuff.

I think the decapitation scene was a classic. :D

You know of course that this means you must make a Powerpoint presentation out of those slides and post it here.

I was considering it. I"m already having to do that so she can send it to her sister and friends. :)

My digital camera is pretty crappy and the special effects were rushed, so I hope it doesn't reflect poorly on me. :D

Rangerwickett, I am sorry to hear about your news. :(

My wife and I don't have special plans, because we have been preoccupied by nursing a sick dog this week (she was hit by a car, but the injuries appear minor at this point), but we will likely do something together, at home, and private. :)

Taking her to dinner, sending her flowers the day before, in order to surprise her. Also probably catch Chicago or some romantic film... Other than that, we are getting married in Hawaii in April and therefore don't have a whole lot of extra cash around.

I'm having a dozen long stem red roses delivered to her work for starters, followed by Thai food and some other things not fit for mention on this board. :D

Forget about Iraq, Iran and North Korea; FTD, De Beers and Hallmark are the real Axis of Evil.

Flowers before hand, we're meeting for dinner at our potential location for our wedding reception, and then I'm giving her the Evenstar neclace from Lord Of The Rings. It goes perfectly with her wedding gown.

I'm mailing a pair of my ex-best friend's girlfriend's panties back to him with an attached note: "Give these back to Roxxie."

It's already a day of blood man.

NICE!!!

how bloody? ;)

I'm making my girlfriend take me to my FLGS and letting me go on a shopping spree!

Am I suppose to do something for her?! Oh you jest!

According to the news last night 53% of women said they would dump there man if he did not buy her a gift. Be careful, don't make it look like you blew her off or you could be just another worthless statistic in the nightly news.

I always get my gf (now fiancee :)) something nice for Valentines... but I've never gotten the feeling from her that she has "earned" it, or somehow it's required. She's the only one I know that's felt that way... it's interesting to see that so many women (in my perception) seem to be so hung-up on stuff like this.

WEll, considering that our "day of love and romance" celebrates the death of two Christian martyrs, it's already a pretty bloody day.

Considering how paranoid my former best friend(who, BTW, stole the name ranix65 on these boards from another) is about Roxxie cheating on him, I figure there should be blood(mine or his) on the snow in New Jersey. Please, please, please! let the snow stay until Friday.
