I'm tag-teaming with my 21-month old son on costumes.

He is dressed as Frodo Baggins (complete with hairy feet, suspenders, white button-shirt, et al - though NO gold ring as I'm afraid he'll lose it :D).

Me? I'm a ringwraith. I chase the little dude all over the place the rest of the year, why not Halloween, too? :)

Best part of all? The scale is about right - he's about three feet tall!

*groans*

Lemme guess... that would make you three:

The Fodder
The Sun
& The Holey Ghost.

Boo! ;)

Well, I'm back from college... Went dressed up in full mage robes. Used my dicebag as a reagent pouch :). I'll try to get a picture up here by tommorow...

I had a great time... First of all, I got free drinks at the cafeteria for being in costume, and entered a contest for a free 50-dollar meal card, which I won. Yay!

Then, I had a fun time in phsyc, because the prof there is a kid at heart too... Hallowe'en is a fun time for him.

Also, I availed myself of a few things at Hocus Pocus (Local costume shop/game store...) See, I went as a mage before, so in order to justify reusing the costume, I had to spice it up... So I looked into some magic tricks to use. I found this gell that you can spread on a hand, and it dries invisible... but if you hold your hand together for a moment to warm it up, and then quickly snap open your hand, it "pulls" into these little wisps of a smoke-like substance. Put that all over my left hand... that was for failed castings of fireball. My finger on my right hand had a sparker-ring I got... had a few bundles of flash paper stuffed in a pocket inside the other sleave, so I could put my hands together in "meditation" for a moment to grab a peice, then have a "misfired" fireball. That, combined with some really simple slight-of-hand tricks and stuff, (You know, usual "street magician type stuff), I put on a couple of impromptu "magic shows", including one for a bunch of little kids at a costume contest the school paper sponsored.

Most fun I've had at halloween for a good long while. And the night is still young!

Excellent! I love hearing about other folks' costumes.

G'day

I'm going to a Hallowe'en barbecue (on Saturday) as an RC bishop.

Not horrifying, you say? The hosts have three little girls.
