Sounds like what I got on mine:

Clutch- The Soapmakers
Eminem- Lose Yourself
Jane's Addiction- Jane Says
Motley Crue- Dr. Feelgood
Prodigy- Beathe
White Zombie- More Human than Human
Pennywise- Every Single Day
Social Distortion- Ball and Chain
Alice in Chains- Dem Bones
Breaking Benjamin- Natural Life
Coal Chamber- Fiend
Disturbed- Mistress

And that's just a random selection.

I have four thousand mp3s, but a good chunk of it is classical, movie soundtracks, hip hop, alternative, punk, pop, trance, heavy rock, jazz, and even some bossa nova. Amazingly, I get tired of listening to them over and over again.

at this particular moment in time, the only file i have loaded into winamp is the Yardbirds' "I'm Confused" (yeah, you guessed it, an early version of Led Zeppelin's Dazed and Confused!)

i have nearly 1800 Mp3s in total, but that figure includes several hundred that i have yet to listen to. ;)

About 400-500 midi (plus some .mods, and some .mp2 or 3) files, coming from various computer games. Good for ambiance music during game sessions, as I have about every genres. Good also for working without getting distracted by lyrics (although they are lyrics in "A Pirate I Was Meant To Be", from Monkey Islands 3).

About 40-50 mp3 files of more normal music. These are for musics I've heard once on the radio, but can never found in stores (who've heard of His Name Is Alive's adaptation of the Man on the Silver Mountain ?), or for musics I had a CD or cassette that's now too damaged to be read.

i have ~4100 mp3s mostly of hard to find indie/emo/other stuff, and right now in the playlist contains Spoon, Grand Champeen, Sean Na Na, Filmmaker, and Give Until Gone.

I have no idea how many mp3's I have at the moment. For comedy I favor classic Tom Lehrer or Bob Newhart's standup. For music, it varies wildly from Jpop/Kpop/HKPop to Goth to oldies. Though the musical War of the Worlds is still a favorite.

My current list that's playing is my 50 top-played songs (I use Windows Media Player, not WinAMP, but same principal) out of about 4500. Anyway, the top 20 are now...

  • Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head - BJ Thomas
In My Life - The Beatles
If Only You Knew - Yes
    Your Song - Elton John
When You Say Nothing at All - Alison Krauss
Only the Good Die Young - Billy Joel
Helplessly Hoping - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Kiss Me - Sixpence None the Richer
    Slide - Goo Goo Dolls
Vincent (Starry Starry Night) - Don McLean
Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles
All Eyes on Me - Goo Goo Dolls
It Will Be A Good Day - Yes
    Piano Man - Billy Joel
Father and Son - Cat Stevens
Our House - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
    Haunted (Kelsey's Song) - Unknown
    The Last Unicorn - America
    Miami - Counting Crows
    I Am A Rock - Simon & Garfunkel

"Buddah Bar," and, "Cafe del Mar."

Not fantasy music, but good background music while you're doing other stuff on the computer. The Buddah Bar CDs are incredibily expensive in the States though. Cafe del Mar has some nice ambient and romantic pieces in it too, while Buddah Bar often dips into Arabic lyrics and has a more international feel to it.

--edit--
There is one Buddah Bar piece that even include Demi Moore reading parts of a poem from Rumi (an old persian mystic/poet/philosopher). Deepok Chopra reads parts of the poem too, and they speak back and forth. Kinda sweet, and perfect for Valentine's Day if you can find it.
