But if they contracted lycanthropy they'd belong to a community. I think kids today need a sense of belonging.

Without question, religious zealot. Overreacting parents can be handled, b/c they could have numerous motivations driving them (personal experience, "best interest", misunderstandings, etc). Zealots do unholy work in the name of all they consider holy. The Crusaders were zealots. al Qaeda is run by zealots. Overreacting parents would have to go a long way to top those groups.
