(OT) Woohoo more snow(sarcasm)

You snooty Nagano people, with your snowstorms and whatnot. Here in Ibaraki we haven't seen a single flake. All we get is rain, rain, rain. I like snow gosh darn it! Send some of that our way if you guys don't want it!

Right, I get second place with -21C, -36 with windchill here in Calgary. We also had snow two days straight, after a long period of dead grass. People here say that it was all the complaining about the heat that did it... It seems just a week ago that we had the warmest January day record broken.

Our Great Dane just arrived from Indonesia, a month after we made the move, and he loves the stuff, although considering how much he shivers after even a ten minute exposure, he doesn't get out very often.

Blech, no...I prefer snow to rain by far...curse this sunny relatively-warm region.

4 degrees here in Western Kentucky. It snowed 2 inches or so Wednesday and they still haven't got the roads clear. We just aren't used to snow, we only get 5 or 6 inches a year so they are never ready for it, and nobody has a clue how to drive in it.

In December we had lots of snow and -25°C/-13°F. Now the snow is gone and the temperature a nice mild 0°C/32°F.

The billboards say we must get used to not having any snow (or alter our behaviour due to greenhouse effect.)

Really, I like it the way it is!
