See what I mean about India? 125 all out! Ah well, at least I'm up to 8 from 11

The funny thing is, at this rate, Zimbabwe are going to make the Super 6's. They still have to play the Netherlands which they should win, which will give them 12 points and should place them 3rd.

The first innings' of tonights matches:

Netherlands 142/9 (50 overs)
de Leede 58*, Smits 17*, Anderson 4/25

vs England.

Pakistan 255/9 (50 overs)
Elahi 63, Youhana 43, B. Kotze 2/51

vs Namibia

South Africa 306/6 (50 overs)
Gibbs 143, Kluesnar 33*, Oram 2/52

vs New Zealand.

Holy Moley! New Zealand just beat South Africa. Admittedly it was eventually through the Duckworth-Lewis method, but the kiwis definitely earned it. And now S. Africa is within an ace of being bounced from the World Cup. And Pool 1 was supposed to be the Group of Death :)

interesting result... the rules, as I understand them, favour the team that bats first when rain delays play... good work New Zealand...

:)

Actually, I think it all depends on how many wickets the team batting second has lost... if it isn't many, it favours them.
