Welcome!!!
You might remember me from the other my other martial art threads......
Sigh.....the way of the warrior is a hard one.....last time I asked you guys helped me plenty.....I chose Muay Thai as my style to practice.....
And a sad thing happened (unluck is with me)......a old enemy of mine (I really do not like the guy), started to train in the same dojo as me....I could not go to another cause' this is the only MT dojo in town....and one training he and I were matched by our sensei to train in a pair.....we were training elbow techniques (I was with a hand protector and he should hit it).....and suddenly he hits me elbow full strenght in the face!!! I went to the ground, sprwling blood from my nose....he stands and laughts at me....so, I get up and infuriated throw a barrage of low kicks at his legs.....and the fight ensues.....
Needless to say....we were thrown out of the dojo.....(the fight ensued when the sensei was not present.....)....
So, I am again left without a dojo.....
But my options are clear this time:
1. Kempo Ryu-Te
2. Kempo Jiu Jitsu
3. Shidokan Karate
Ryu-Te Kempo is a Okinawan karate/kempo system.....focuses on hand strikes and fluid locks (levers)......the main tactic is attacking the hands and feet.....the blocks is this system are not block per se....they are more like strikes to the attacking hand/feet....
Kempo Jiu Jitsu is the most a hard jiu jitsu system.....focuses on atemi (elbows, knees, boxing-like technique), then locks and throws....has some weapons training....
Shidokan karate is best decribed as a combination of full-contact karate, muay thai and grappling....
So, as always...your opinions are welcome....
