[Ot--yet not OT] The day has come!

Nightfall

Sage of the Scarred Lands
My book, the one I'm proud to say I helped with a little, the S&SS Player's Guide to Wizards, Bards and Sorcerers...the book has come! :D Yes folks for at least ONE of the authors/contributors of this FINE piece of prose (Must give major props to the authors of the chapters. Ethan Skemp (Great job with Wizards man! You rocked!), Mike Gill (FINE, FINE work! I love the various ways you twisted and turned the Bard around), and of course our beloved Piratecat, Kevin Kulp, (Sorcerer chapter. Only things needs to be said, WOW!...well maybe Awesome but definately WOW! ;) )

In any case folks, proud to say I got this...and will be even MORE proud when I get to show off PG: Rangers and Rogues. :) I feel I and my fellows did an excellent job with this book. (No offense to the other PG authors. ) :) In any case if you want to know more about it, just ask. :)

Wizards, Bards and Sorcerers. ;)

Seriously though there some nice ideas here. Like what various schools and/or traditions teach and thus have a kind of arcane motif in both dress and spell casting (sort of like Spell Thematics) (That's for wizards). For you sorcerers out there, in exchange for losing some flexiblity, you can have Scion feats. Depending on how you want to go, you can have a Scion feat for being infernal or heavenly, fey, even one for being born of an efreet. :) Another bonus is when you cast these spells you increase your caster level by +1. Bardic music is even better with new ideas for using epics and songs while you use bardic music and/or spellcasting. Plus even new ideas on bardic magic and it's musical theories. Plus, for wizards, a list of books that you can pick and choose for both your PCs and NPCs to use to make them specialize in various fields of the arcane. And for those of you wanting more than just tomes, there's a spellstaff and also using tattoos to inscribe spells into your flesh. (Not runes but actual spell formulas and stuff) And also for sorcerers ideas for making various "families" of sorcerers based on elements and/or idealogy. :) Plus the appendixes ROCK! Especially two spells...(but I'm biased since they are mine) Durlock's Withering Pox and Anteas' Whip of Devastation. (Khelban Blackstaff eat your heart out! ;))

That help Nifft? ;)
