[OT] Your Geekiest Moment

Marius, don't feel bad... I thought the exact same thing. For such a large company, they should have a better graphics group to put those together. It's also one of the things I do for a living... so maybe I'm being overly picky, lol...

And my geekiest moment? There are so many... it's difficult to choose just one. Perhaps that I met my fiancee on EverQuest. That's pretty damn geeky, lol.

2) Making a character for the upcoming Game of Death, and wandering around giggling over my complete badassitude. Then going up to random people and telling them about how anybody who faces me will have no chance to survive, and should make their time.

as a fellow competitor in the game of death, this terrifies me.

My geekiest moment might have occured last night when My wife woke me up and said I had been talking in my sleep, and the only things she understood was "crappy AC" she asked what that was, and I told her the air conditioning at work is stuck on.

I met my wife on a MUSH (online RPG).

I seriously wonder about things like why people who can recite to-hit modifiers from memory are 'weird', but those who can recite Dallas Cowboys pass interception statistics from 1992 are 'normal'.

I rewrote the Hobbit - in limerick form.

Maybe more nerdy, than geeky...

But here goes...

I took a book to a professional football game and read it while everyone else around me stood and cheered the game going on.

The book wasn't particularly geeky, though. We were building our house at the time, and the book was about common design mistakes in home architecture.

Everyone in the stands made fun of me, not the least of which was my wife's parents, who had the season tickets. The only reason I went was because they had two empty seats, and I agreed to go with my wife.

It was the Chiefs, playing who I have no idea.
