In other words, invent a new spell. Which is exactly what I don't want to do.

Here's the thing, if the answer to my question is, "no, there is no existing suitable spell", then that's the answer, and that's fine.

Sorry, i thought we established that about 9 posts ago. I was moving on from there. There is nothing in any printed book, first party or 3rd, that does exactly what you want. You have three choices from there.

1 Don't do anything.
2 Make something up completely
3 Use something similar as a skeleton and flesh it out as required

And as i said, Mark of Justice does something similar to what you want, just backwards. Use that as a framework and move on from there. Again, MoJ is based on Bestow Curse. A "Greater" version could be based on Greater Bestow Curse, which is powerful enoigh to enact the change you want. Then, instead of the trigger activating the curse, switch it around so the curse takes place immediately and the trigger breaks the curse.

Done and done.
