Legs done today, was a bit late as I was transporting people around.

Seemed fine. My viral stage is now late in the game where its just some typical lameness but not sinus/coughing or anything.

Came home and have wrapped up a power point, why must I do this, when nobody literally nobody, will care....sigh.

I've just finished out my first week on the Nippard Min-Max program (with some slight modifications). I was a bit skeptical at first, but I'm liking it so far! My usual routine is Upper, Lower, Off, Push, Pull, Legs, Off. It's typically low volume with moderate/high reps and high intensity, and I like it because I don't need deloads often and it's kind to my joints.

The new routine is Upper, Lower, Off, Upper, Lower, Arms, Off. It's still low volume (though a bit more than my usual routine) for low/moderate reps and high intensity. I wasn't too sure about it, but I don't feel as ground down by Friday as I've come to be used to, and I gotta say: dedicating a session to just arms is hella fun. I think the higher weights will necessitate a deload after 4 or so weeks, and I've had to make some adjustments to account for my old-man bum knee, but it's a nice novelty that I think will sustain me. I also think it'll make me appreciate my go-to routine more by taking a break from it.

Nice!

I got in last night for three sets each (plus warmups) of machine pec flies, machine triceps extensions, and machine biceps curls, only drop-setting the last set of each. I really need to work on my program and get the rest of my body more of the volume that my vanity muscles get, though.

Forgive me if you've talked about this before, but are you following a weekly schedule/routine? It sounds like you have circuits you enjoy doing (depending on availability of equipment and such)?

I ask because if If I didn't track and map my stuff out: buh-bye leg day. :P

Upper, gym was packed. I'll head in tomorrow early and knock out what I missed.

It's homecoming at the university today, so I couldn't use the school gym. Worked out at home (which I hate), but got it done: 2 sets of chest flyes, pullups, EZ bar curls, skullcrushers, and lateral dumbbell raises. Finished it off with a set of close-grip pushups.

Supplemental Saturday we will call it.

I went in a bit (very) stressed, and quite annoyed due to a number of factors.

Bike
Hack
Calf
Deadlift.
Bicep Curl
Face Pull

Thats essentially the 'warm up'.

Incline Bench, real good, but I felt tight across my back after? SO.
Bent over Row. Still tight.
Single Arm, Cable Pull.

Dips (70)
Pull Ups

The pump is now real.

Delt Raise into Curls
Tri Extension

To really punish my back.

Reverse Fly Machine.

So, really good. Pretty long, but I needed some alone time to punish my annoyance and stress. As we do.
