Question: Some time ago someone here recommended the WorldBuilder's Guidebook and it quickly became one of my favorite gaming products, and since then I've been curious about some other AD&D products. Considering that some of them are on Noble Knight Games sale, can anyone recommend the following products? (If so, why would you recommend them to a 3.5 DM/Player?)
Dungeoneer's Survival Guide
Manual of the Planes
Wilderness Survival Guide

These are crap, crap, CRAP. Badly thought out; each of the "survival guides" tries to introduce new skills...and each is entirely contradictory with the other's resolution system! The Manual of the Planes...? Don't make me laugh. The stuff about planes you can glean from the back of the Player's Handbook, Deities and Demigods and the tiny bit in Q1 Queen of the Demonweb Pits plus whatever house rules you might want to introduce is far, far better than that. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
