It fits in with the existing system of magic alot better than ToM does. Haven't read MoI yet.

I could see running a game where the ONLY casters are shadowcasters or where there is no magic, but Binders are running around everywhere.
I see XPH as more of a 'plug in' system and ToM as more of a 'build around' system(s).
