I'm sorry this was unclear.
As I understood it, Solace has just opened a door and seen a more powerful enemy (Asha - a boss and potentially the toughest opponent here) who was waiting to attack. Solace is now one hit from death/unconsciousness. There were no allies inside, and she is unaware of any trap doors, and her hand is on a door that has a lock mechanism.
Her choice is to flee outright or try and hinder Asha and perhaps her giant spider from pursuing, while staying alive. The latter helps the party, the former makes things significantly worse (introducing 1-2 new opponents), right? She doesn't know about the spell.
So the goal was to close the door and potentially jam the lock if at all possible. If that's not possible, she still has 30 of movement to flee, but I thought that would be pushing things. It was more important to keep the enemies from all being able to attack in a single round. I hope that's clearer/makes some sense.
If not, she can disengage (bonus) and move and (as Yavathol suggests) fall behind Kamael. Solace was trying to keep Asha out of the fight (secondary goal), while staying alive (primary!).
