You and I share the error, lowkey13. I vetted Brinn's sheet very carefully, and thought (mistakenly) the +3 attack bonus was correct because Brinn's Strength 12 and +2 proficiency bonus combined for a total attack modifier of +3. What I missed, and I apologize for my error, was that a monk may apply either his Strength or his Dexterity bonus to attack and damage rolls for unarmed strike. With a Dexterity of 16, you are quite correct, Brinn's attack now goes at a +5.

I'm glad you spotted the mistake. But sorry it took us so long to get there. Boo.

Hey, I just wanted to drop a quick note of appreciation. I have really enjoyed everyone's characters ... in the IC, I can conjure what each of the characters is like from what everyone has been writing, which is awesome.
I second that. I hate Brinn's pompous ass so much that I personally want to crawl through the screen and use Kago’s hammer to smash his face in. I assume that was the point. At least I hope so, because it worked. :)

...but the half-orc ducked, causing a miss.

Kago would like to pause the action here for a brief moment, and break the 4th wall long enough to remind the audience that, despite the narrator's and certain party members' insistence to the contrary, he is, in fact, a full, 100 percent, complete and whole orc. Nothing half about this guy!

Carry on! :)

I've got a kiddo who traveled to DC this weekend and has subsequently been stuck on the interstate in Pennsyvlania for the last full 24 hours. She's written to us just a bit ago to say their bus has been turned around by the national guard and is now back-tracking on an alternate route home. I'm not sure what time she'll arrive back at school, but I expect it'll be in the neighborhood of 3 am. So no post from me until Monday until I get her all sorted out.

Thoughts are with you. Be safe.
