Page References

One of the main things I hope WotC improve on in this edition of D&D is page references. Quite often when you are playing, you will look up a rule or spell and it will reference another rule or spell. However, it won't tell you what page number the other rule or spell is on. I then have to spend another minute trying to locate where the referenced rule or spell (and hope that it doesn't reference something else!).

I know that doing this would take a bit more effort but it would make finding rules and spells during a game a lot, lot quicker and easier. Nothing can kill the momentum of a game more than minutes of trying to find a particular rule or spell (let alone then reading and understanding it).

Ptolus really set the bar on this for me. It is such a huge book, but there are so many cross references in there that it makes finding the information a lot easier. I hope WotC have taken note and can put a better referencing system in place for 4E.
