Draw Steel Cheat Sheets

My group is starting Delian Tomb and having a great time with Draw Steel. We all liked the tactical richness of 4e and Draw Steel does it even better.

That said, there’s a lot of rules, especially for a new group, and we didn’t find the included PDFs that great for referencing at the table. I put together the attached cheat sheets to try to cover every last rule that might come up during a session. I hope others find it as useful as we do!

Holy s**t there's a lot of rules! A 16 pg cheat-sheet?!

But also great job. My group will be using these when we start a campaign later this year.
To be fair, it’s a large font and I used a lot of whitespace to avoid sections crossing page boundaries, and repetition for clarity (especially the hiding rules).

The rules also do a good job of covering edge conditions, especially considering the tactical positioning emphasis of the game, like “what happens if a climb up the giant monster?” and “what happens if I force move a rider off its horse?”

Not a DS-stan, it’s definitely a rules-heavy game, but it has an internal consistency and we’re already finding that the rules are becoming second nature, even after just 4 battles. We’re also finding that it rewards knowing your character and paying attention to what’s going on… it’s unapologetically a game that you can be better or worse at.

Yea, absolutely no shade on Draw Steel. It's just that my buddy said he was going to run it later this year and I haven't read it yet - I wasn't quite aware how rules dense it is (or how I'm perceiving it to be).
