Pathfinder 1E Paizo no longer publishing Dungeon and Dragon

Friadoc,

Well you're being more reasonable that one guy I know who already called ME a WotC shill.

Me!! Nightfall, Mister Scarred Lands and d20 for most of his life!

Feh. :p ;)

. . . . for all we know.
And that is the truest statement of all.

Yeah, I'm disappointed these two awesome magazines that I've been collecting for years are going away, but maybe, just maybe, what WotC has planned will be as good if not better. None of us know until we actually see the product. I'm just going to wait and see. Bottom line, will this ruin my game? Not at all. I still played just fine when TSR was going through its death throes, and I'm sure my group will still manage to get together and lay the smackdown on my carefully constructed plans.

Until all is revealed, I will reserve my judgement.

For the record, I love the Scarred Lands, my first published credit was in Relics & Rituals and the paystub that "the Tear of Mormo" earned me is something I cherish to this day.

Heck, not only did Sword and Sorcery publish my first industry piece via an Open Call, but it recieved a rather awesome half-page artwork t'boot.

I've always wished I had a color post, or painting of that piece, too. *chuckles*

Anyhow, I think anyone whose read your posts and comments enough would realise that while you're a Scarred Lands pontificator, it's for passion, not pay. ;)

BV,

Glad to see some sensibility has come to you. Not that were sensible or senseless..just you know...

Furor and all. ;)
Must be that maturity with age thing.

And I would never have called you a WotC shill. Scarred Lands, of course, but not WotC.

BV,

Darn right I'm a Scarred Lands Shill! And it's by choice too! :p

*probably age but it might be the "happy juice" I put in En World's water supply" ;)

Friadoc,

yeah I might have gotten a few pay checks from S&SS for Scarred Lands, but it was ALWAYS for the love of the setting, period.

Tried as I might, I never got a piece accepted for the Scarred Lands, again.

In fact, on top of the oddity of only getting published in odd years, I've also not been published by the same company twice.

However, I do bath regularly, so it's not that. ;)

Fraidoc,

Well I'm glad it's not your bathing habits then. :) But I am sorry no more of your work was accepted.

Tell you what, if/when I get my Scarred Lands Revised Campaign Setting bible done, you can show me some of your ideas and go from there. ;)

Sounds cool to me, goodness knows I love a good project....hmm, oh yeah, project.

Seriously, I can do this stuff AND write a 4th level OGL adventure, really!

Hey, don't look at me like that, I'm serious. ;)

*chuckles*

Anyhow, sounds good to me and I think you've many venues and paths to get a hold of me. As I use to tell people, if you can't get ahold of me, you ain't trying. :D

I just have to be satisfied hanging onto my brother's published coattails.
