Yesterday the Paizo Blog explained a new loyalty program designed to replace and enhance the existing Paizo advantage program.
Among some other bits, the program tracks your yearly spending on the Paizo Store to put you in one of three tiers, these tiers control how much 'gold' (a point system) you get per dollar spent (with the highest tier conferring a standing discount.) Ranging from 1.0x to 1.5x per dollar, you can spend the gold on discount coupons up to $20 with a 10% tier above that. They're also saying that there will be certain promotional things that can be bought with gold.
For example, someone who spends $250 (the minimum to maintain the 1.25x gold rate) would make 312 gold off that, and would be able to get about $30 of discounts. Paizo is also offering small amounts of gold for social media follows and product reviews for products you own. They also promised to cover subscriptions in a future blog, but clarified that subscription purchasers will retain their complementary pdf benefit and their subscription spending will still count toward the above gold program.
Finally, they showed off their new site layout and told us they're not quite ready to announce a date yet, but it should be soon.
