Pathfinder 1E Paizo Site is Down, Do They Have the Licence?

Wouldn't Paizo read the rules before making a decision? So they'd go through all of the above steps before making an announcement?

Paizo said that if the licence prevents them from releasing the kind of products they want to release, they probably will not go 4E. They've also said that their decision has more to do with the licence then it does the rules.

I'd imagine that as long as WotC was ready to deliver the rules quickly once requested,

One would think that, but companies indicated interest more then 2 months ago. The NDA was signed back in Jan. Wizards isn't moving fast.

Perhaps the Paizons are once again caught up in a life-or-death battle of "who goes in the pot?"

The sad thing is, apparently they're apparently playing that game without including Erik Mona in the discussions. We all can guess what that means.

That's a shame, because Erik has written some awfully good D&D material. He will be missed.

I did, but I don't see any analogy with this situation, or how it would be in the best interests of a company like Paizo to make such a move.
