Pathfinder 1E Paizo to publish 2 books

So it sounds like Paizo has made the leap to d20 Publisher now. That will give them some sweet inroads into the distribution market and the books will be 100% D&D. Paizo may not be Wizards, but I'l bet that they quickly overtake a lot of other d20 publishers in terms of market share.

Also, it seems that Paizo will do what WOTC has refused to do: support GMs. That is a very good niche to fill and I can only say..... THANK YOU!

Woo-hoo! I am so glad I waited to start the Shackled City adventures! My PCs should be about 9th level when they finsih their current mission and I'm going to throw them into the middle of the Shackled City as soon as possible afterwards (be a nice change after all of this wilderness adventuring).

Well, I'm in for the "Shackled City" book.

I'm pretty "Meh" about both "Dungeon" and "Dragon" magazine of late, and $60 is more than I generally pay, but the few issues of "Dungeon" I picked up that had the Shackled City adventures seemed pretty cool, so I guess I'll take the risk. (After all, I shelled out way more than that for WLD.)

We'll also be taking pains to make it Forgotten Realms-friendly (by having Eric Boyd write up sidebars on how to adapt each adventure to FR) and Eberron-friendly (by having Keith Baker write up sidebars on how to adapt each adventure to Eberron).

Is this for "Age of Worms" or will similar side-bars be in the "Shackled City" hardbound? I love the sound of the SC book, but I've been wanting to try an Eberron campaign.

The Dragon Compendium: Volume 1, a collection of the best articles from the Dragon magazine over its complete 29 year run. Proven favorites as selected by former editors-in-chief and fans fill out this 256 page book, offering a variety of game material for the current rule set and older reference materials for readers.

So that means no articles from issues published in between 1987 and 1997

Actually, this all looks very exciting. With this and some of the other GenCon announcements, my hopes of cutting back on new books are starting to dimm.

Is "Compleat" an intentional misspelling?

It's an archaic spelling of "complete", and is used quite a bit when one wants to create an old feel. I imagine it's intentional.
