Pathfinder 1E PaizoCon II in 2009

Hey everyone,

As one of the co-dictators of PaizoCon, I wanted to try and get the word out a bit better for our 2nd year. Our first PaizoCon may have seemed "insider", but actually it was a small get-together that was organized in less than 3 months...by a small group of fans on the Paizo messageboards. I did no advertising because, well...no time!

It went well, I'm told.

So, we are now planning our second year.
We have place to hold it....LaQuinta Inn, Kirkland, WA.
We have the dates set....April 24-26, 2009
We are planning on three times the attendance as the first year...100 people or so. (We've got roughly a third of that already)

And we are taking RSVPs now.

Nothing insider about it. We only had limited room space (and we still went over our 30), and had to set a reservation cap, so it was mostly on a first come, first serve basis.

If you want to organize a local get together and play Paizo games, do it. Nothing stopping you, though the chances of getting Paizo staff to come and play are low if it's not local for them. But hey, you never know - doesn't hurt to ask, and you get together and play some games if nothing else.

PaizoCon 2009: Update

We have been working on a few things for PaizoCon II that hopefully will be finalized sometime by January's end, but some plans have come to fruition:

PaizoCon II will now take place on June 12-14, 2009 in the Bellevue, WA area.

The attendance cap has been raised to 250 attendees, so we are now looking for a bigger venue to accomodate us.

And finally, Paizo will be involved in a BIG way this year....by running PaizoCon II. If you listened to Atomic Array's Podcast, there was mention of PaizoCon II-only Pathfinder Society events.

More as planning develops and as decisions are made!

Actually, by my calculation you'd only have to go about 2,500 miles. Start walking now, and you'll have some free time before the Con starts when you get there!
