Paladin and Cleric spells in the compendium?

Some nice ones in there, a few that sound abusable though. That rhino's rush being the biggest offender if it really works that way.
I guess it could get nasty when combined with Leap Attack and a two-handed weapon, but most times, I don't see it being more than extra weapon dice plus Strength and enhancement bonus to damage, and possibly smite evil and Divine Might bonus damage as well. For a paladin with Spirited Charge, it's a 33% increase in damage potential, less if he has any bonus dice of damage (such as from a holy weapon).

The Righteous Aura spell, is that a reflex save? The rogue's player may be very unhappy to have his PC's moraly questionable ass blown to smithereens by the spell. :]
Yes, there's a Reflex save, but despite the blurb, the spell damages evil creatures only.

Darn, still no spell for a paladin to "see the worst sin commited by a creature". I think that would be a fun divintation spell. And really cut down on arguing. See the movie "Unbreakable" for more details.
Nice idea, but it could be a pain to DM if the player uses it often. There's the accounting problem of keeping track of which NPC has which greatest sin, and for some DMs, detect evil is bad enough without the paladin player able to unearth the deepest, darkest secrets in the NPCs' past as well.

Warning Shout: Immediate. Allies are no longer flat-footed.

OHHHHH YEAHHH! This may be one of the most useful spells EVER printed!
It has its uses, but there are a couple of things working against it:

1. You can't use an immediate action if you're flat-footed, so you still can't cast it until you get to act in combat.

2. The people who will benefit most from it - those with a high Dex bonus to AC - are also the least likely to benefit from it because their initiative checks will tend to be higher and so are likely to act before the spellcaster.

Still, the spell can be a life-saver if the paladin happens to be the only one in the party to beat the initiative of a high-level rogue.
