What's Greater Sleep? As for Ghoul Touch or Sleep, those don't really count
Ghoul Touch requires the sorc to enter melee, and Sleep just isn't a good idea for a sorc.
Greater Sleep is in the Book of Eldrich Might. 3rd level, just like Sleep, but effects 4d6 of HD, with a cap of 10 HD.
I also have to wonder why you let him have a Silver dragon if he wasn't acting Good. The dragon would have left, because despite it being his familiar, it's still a sentient creature with it's own aligment. A NG dragon ain't going to hang out with a bunch of murdering Evil characters. As I recall, the Improved Familiar feat requires aligment matches.
That was part of my mistake. The sorcerer was only 7th-level. Was the dragon mount only supposed to be taken by a paladin?
Yes. By the rules in Defenders of the Faith, a paladin looking to make this dragon his SPECIAL MOUNT has to go through a lot. Giving the dragon Gold (See my last post at the end; I editted it), he has to treat it like a dragon, not a mount, and it's His Mount. A small paladin can call a Very Young dragon to him at 8th level. A Young at 10th. And with the Leadership feat, level 12, but then the dragon isn't his mount.
It hasn't happened yet; I'm just speculating. I simply think that the inter-reaction between a Kobold paladin and his Silver dragon mount could be very interesting.

Sort've a bastian or blessing from his God. Not to mention the ability to Polymorph, which says to me, the ability to become humanoid and go into places, as aposed to leaving the Special Mount outside of dungeons or in stables, etc etc.
Heck, I could see the paladin falling in love with the dragon.
