Paladin/Figther/Hunter of the Dead PrC Addition?

Droid101

First Post
Okay. Here's the ropes. I was going to go straight Paladin in my current game, but after 4 levels, my character has gotten very militaristic, so he's going to take Fighter for the next 4 levels. After that, if we haven't run into any undead, I don't know what to be (Hunter of the Dead route if I do).

I was thinking barbarain, taking the next militaristic/animalistic step. However, you cannot be lawful and chaotic at the same time, and I want to keep my paladin stuff. So...

Is there any prestige class out there that offers a rage-like bonus, but that I don't have to take levels of Barbarian, or otherwise lose my Paladin status?

Thanks for the ideas in advance!!

A barbarian doesn't have to be chaotic, just nonlawful. Of course, that's still enough to lose your paladin status so it's a moot point. ;)

The singh rager (OA) is lawful and has a fury ability that works like rage. It requires BAB +7, though.

Kensei (CW) lets you boost your strength by 8 for a while with a concentration check, so that's like rage. Also, to get into Kensei, you need lots of Paladin skills, so that works.

Kensei is all about focusing one's spirit into a weapon, and using it to kick ass.

I am running a Paladin / Kensei right now, and the two classes work together well. Just make sure your 'master' for the Kensei part is also a paladin (or at least Lawful Good) so you don't get into the situation of having to obey your master and break your paladin code, or refuse and break your Kensei code.

there's a PrC in Oriental Adventures called Singh Rager, which has what you're looking for (lawful "rager"). The prerequisites are +7 to BAB, Lawful alignment, Iron Will and Ki Shout as feats (the last one from Oriental Adventures).
