Is it possible that someone has made a Oath of Family for Paladin, perhaps that gives bonuses similar to Pack tactics? If not I may have to make one up myself, but figured I would check here first, in case I can save some work.
I am thinking something along the lines of having a list of people you include in your "family" with actual blood family being required (unless your cousin murdered your father, thus exiling him from the family), and you get things like advantage or +1d4 (proably scales with level) to things involving helping your family. For greatest mechanical advantage you would be able to include your entire party, or for some interesting role playing you can only include one or two. Various support spells would fit the theme as far as spell lists go.
