Paladin with Monk levels: Feasible Character?

wow, cute feat. Anyone think it would be too much to also let this feat allow paladin and monk classes stack for the purpose of determining AC bonus? The Paladin loses a lot of potential AC down this path and both classes tend to be feat hungry.
I'm actually surprised that it doesn't do that. I have house-ruled it that way, but I haven't really had much opportunity to see it with my players.

@ Dannyalcatraz - warmage isn't actually warrior-esque.

warmage isn't actually warrior-esque.

Sure it is, in the sense that it has better armor, shields and HP than a Wizard- leading to better survivability.
-esque: adjective suffix, French, from Italian -esco, of Germanic origin; akin to Old High German -isc -ish — more at -ish "in the manner or style of"

It is not, however, a warrior substitute.

While you can't flurry with a greatsword, you can flurry with a Large longsword, which is effectively the same thing. You just need to take monkey grip, or OTWF, or probably any of a bunch of other possibilities that let you swing around bigger weapons.

Hmmm... I find your idea intriguing, but I'd be wary of watering down the BAB yet again:

A pal 1 / mnk 2 has BAB +2. Adding in sorcerer, means that BAB goes nowhere, again. HP are out (+d4.... un-wow!)

You're also feat starved.

I'd rather go for obtaining a magic item, or a potion or three, rather than watering down the original concept.

Stick with just paladin/monk, ascetic knight, and concentrate on Charisma, Str, and Con, in that order.
