Whatever card stock you use on those things seems way thicker than the photo paper I glued together. Also, I guess it takes an artistic touch, but I have a hard time cutting around the edges or making the base remotely flat. Haven't experimented much either though. I do love how your pictures looks though.

Thank you Nebulos. I print the minis on photo paper for termosublime printers. In addition I glue two sides together with double sided sellotape. This is why the minis may look thicker. For a base - 1 inch metal washer is a good option unless you decide to use removable ones.
