Paranoia XP

Anyone know of a place I can get adventures for beginners? The one in the back of the book is a little more complex then I want for a starting out adventure.

Crothian, were any of the websites helpful in your search for beginner adventures?

Crothian, I have a bunch of adventure I wrote for 2e Paranoia; they'd be pretty easy to steal ideas from. You (or anyone else) want?

If you happen to stumble across Acute Paranoia, the Code 7 mini-adventures in there are nice, short adventures. I understand producing a similar product for XP is a relatively high priority.

Looking at Mongoose's website, there's an adventure book slated for release this month, called Crash Priority:

I don't know if it's already been released, or how good it may/may not be.

I really haven't seen any of the old stuff for sale in ages. And since the group is new to the game I'm just loooking for something fun and easy fror them. I have seen some adventures on line but for one reason or another I just wasn't happy with them.....

PC, I'd be happy to "liberate" your ideas from the cramped computer file that they have been living in if that is ok with you. My e-mail address is in my profile if you would like to send them to mine. Much appreciated.

Heh. I was running 'Adventures in Clonesitting' last night. We'd played for approximately three and a half hours. One player lost his last clone when we wrapped up. The radiation got him.

I've got 'Welcome Wagon' as well, but if you've got more adventures out there, Kev, I'd love to have a copy.

Yeah, I played in Martin's game last night and had a blast. Sorry i was so tired Martin...

This was the first paranoia experience for all of us, bar one person, so I guess I want to ask a question - is it normal for half the game session to be spent trying to kill your fellow troubleshooters?

Nope. You're playing it WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

It should be 3/4 of the game session..

Only if your fellow troubleshooters are traitors. So, uh, yes.

It's actually not that uncommon for groups of new players to spend so much time bumping each other off, they never actually make it to the mission. Then as the players get used to the setting, they realize there are a lot of advantages to being a bit more subtle, and wait until they're on the mission proper before bumping each other off. Which of course gives the GM a chance to vapourize some characters, too...
