Parefid's Tomb: Adventure Module & New Monsters

Parefid's Tomb is (or soon will be) a 30 to 40 page OGL d20 fantasy adventure module released via Kickstarter. This module should be compatible with any game based on the System Reference Document available at d20srd.org or on the WotC website.

In this module, designed for a party of 7th to 12th level (7th if you're running a five-player horror game, 12th if your three players like to be big damn heroes), a GM can either present their players with a rich setting and tricky investigation, leading eventually to a showdown with the setting's mysterious antagonists in Parefid's Tomb, or simply pull the titular Tomb out of context and use it as a dungeon crawl. A plethora of new monsters, including seven in the first level alone, will wow (or eat) your party. The central promise of the module, however, is this: no plot holes, including between rules & story. No matter what part of the backstory you poke, no matter what NPC motivation you question or what oft-forgotten class ability you remember to exploit, the entire story and setting will remain coherent. Unlike far too many professional RPG products, Parefid's Tomb is Fridge Logic free.

One can get a PDF version of the module for a pledge of just $2 or more, if it meets its funding goal. Backers pledging $25 or more will receive a hard copy by mail, and any backer offering $40 of support will receive a custom monster. Kickstarter projects only charge their backers if the project meets or beats its funding threshold, which for Parefid's Tomb is $450. For each $50 by which the project passes that goal, the module will include one extra illustration.

On a personal note: this is my first professional design endeavor, although it's not the first time I've done professional RPG work. It's mostly an experiment to see whether I can make and market an adventure module. I know the content is good, but is there demand? You get to answer that question. $450 is the bare minimum that would make this worth my while, but if the project exceeds that mark, expect more adventures in the future.

Thanks! Kickstarter's pretty grand; it was through Greg Stolze, who's ransomed stories and gaming material for years, that I learned about it.
