Party Names

Edgewood

First Post
My group have been entertaining the notion of having a group name. Nothing has come up yet. So I was wondering what group name or names do you use now or have in the past?

One campaign, in which over twenty PCs were killed, we began to refer to ourselves as the "Replaceables".

Our group right now is called the Silver Band, i believe.

Lemme see, not too many groups took names over the years, but true to type, all were a bit odd...

The Bastard Squad
The Questers for Swords
Motorhead plc
Nemesis
Hell's Angels
The Next Generation
The Timelords
Tsunami
The Red Kank Front.

My new group hasn't chosen a name yet and I don't know if they will bother. Still, seeing as nobody has named their character Binky or Melons or Tracheotomy, I might be lucky enough to end up with a sensible, atmospheric group name if they decide to do so. Wait, who am I kidding here?

I tried to get our group to get a good name.
Even offered a bonus XP bribe.
Nothing.

So for now we're stuck with "The Cincinnati D&D Group"

Yes I know it's not the name of an adventure group, but it's all we've got for now.

The party formed by the group I play with now is called The Seekers of Legend, since we're all trying ot 'make a name for ourselves' so to speak. Unfortunately, that abberviates to S.O.L., but we still stick with it. Got a little party symbol and everything.

Before I played with them, in the last campaign, they were Greerson's Glory, after a city they defended.

The PCs in my current group are called The Guardians.

They were given custody of a child with "great importance to the universe" many years ago. Unfortunately, it happened at the end of a night's adventuring and it was very late when we decided the baby boy should have a name. No one could come up with something good and we sleepily embraced the first funny name that was offered. So the group's full name is: The Guardians of Testiclees.

One of my two Eberron groups are the Blades of Arakhain, as ex-military who were posted for a long while at Fort Arakhain.

Second group is still waiting to come up with or earn a name.
