Party Names

The two parties that I've gamed with for any meritable amount of time have been named, we all believe that it adds a little flavour, and certainly identity.

If your party saves a village, they're going to name you like it or not. In the annuls of there history they are not going to write "And thus, our village was saved. In times of tradgedy, brave heroes stepped up to break the Orc encampment around us and send the green-skinned beasts fleeing. They didn't have a name, but there was a kind of skinny human, two dwarves and a gnome."

My first party was named "The Faithful" because we spread the name of the party's god all over faerun, Tempus became a whole lot more popular.

My second party is named "The Snowbound Warriors" which started slightly tongue in cheek, because in our first session we were caught in a blizzard, completely lost trail and direction and came two dice rolls from utter starvation and death. However, fond of the memories of low levels and hardships, we kept the name... err... and try not to announce it too often when in Calimshan and suchlike... :\

My current player's call themselves "Bonal's Avengers." The first night they were together they saw they're mutual friend Bonal get killed. This was the event that brought them together.
