Olaf,

I just hope it succeeds and WotC's idea fails. That's all I care about.

Night... doesn't this attitude of yours seem just a LITTLE too extreme? I mean we don't even know what WotC has in store. Maybe it'll be good. Dare I say even better? My point is we should wait and see before passing judgements like this.

Gun,

Extreme? Maybe. But based on my experience, especially since 3/4 of the latest WotC stuff has consistently sucked, I'm not sure it's much to expect anything good. Now admittedly sucked is harsh word, but consider this: 95% of the people that bought WotC adventures prefer Dungeon. What does WotC do? Cancel Dungeon. Yeah that speaks volumes to me.

Not only have James and Erik just convinced me to use my extraneous Dungeon subscriptions to give this Pathfinders a try, their enthusiasm, dedication and amicable customer support has spurned me to go whole hog and sign up for the subscription.

I don't think I've been this excited about D&D since my very first game!

Thanks Paizo!

yeah, me too.
also, how will the pathfinder and the standalone adventure book be distributed?
out here in New Zealand we only get the wizards stuff in the game shops and not a lot of independent publishers. wil any new stuff be distributed thru the same channels that Dragon and Dungeon are?

Your local game store can order Pathfinder from his distributor. I know we have an Australian disributor, and a post to our Customer Service messageboards will probably turn up more specific information (I'm at home at 11:30 and away from People in the Know).
